Acute Back Pain/Sciatica

Acute symptoms come on suddenly and by that same token they resolve more quickly as well. With acute back pain, usually you have an event that triggered a nerve pathway being disrupted. This could very well be a disc issue and should be taken very seriously. Often the person affected cannot walk or move easily without triggering the pain. These people can be treated effectively with acupuncture. Unless the person has actually herniated a disc then the problem should resolve in just a week or two of treatment coming in 2-3 times a week.
For acute back pain, acupuncture truly works.
