Sciatica/Low Back Pain

Low back pain is one of the most common conditions that I see in clinic.  Whether acute or chronic, 8 out of 10 patients gets significant relief within 3-5 visits.  Acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping are by far some of the best therapies for regulating soft tissue and reducing inflammation in order to reduce pain levels.

Sciatica is a condition that typically causes radiating type pain into the glut and possibly down
the entire leg. Sometimes the patient only has pain in the extremities but just as often the pain
can focus in the lower back or glut area. This is typically caused by an acute muscle tension
pattern or issues with the lower lumbar discs. Either way, it is very treatable with acupuncture,
cupping, and moxibustion treatment.

In my 20 years of experience seeing patients, I have repeatedly seen acupuncture work for
sciatic type conditions when other modalities have failed.

I am firmly of the opinion that this is the best therapy out there for sciatica and very often we
are seeing significant changes to pain levels within 3-5 visits. Within a few visits and 1 weeks
time, acupuncture can significantly reduce pain levels.

I had been suffering from sciatic nerve pain for close to a year. I tried physical therapy and it did not help. Also got an injection that also did not help very much. A friend recommended that I try acupuncture. An online search led me to Coleman. After one visit the pain was about 90% better. After my third visit it was gone completely. This was months ago and I remained pain-free to this day. Coleman is a miracle worker. I would recommend him to anyone experiencing sciatic nerve related pain.
